During this year’s summer break I worked as Visiting Consultant with the Berlin office of Corporate Value Associates (CVA), a global network of strategy consultancies with offices in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.
During my internship I was assigned to a Due Diligence for a major german media firm and adapted a respective financial model.
At CVA, I learned interesting lessons about what strategy consulting and related quantitative methods are about. Maybe most importantly, I learned about the peculiar perspectives, incentives and lifestyles of the consulting business.
